Amazed by the beauty and diversity of this country. Moments:
Liberia landing, kindness of the driver who came to pick us up.
We all went to a bar around midnight to pick up food.
We went to the Night tour. Almost full moon. I loved time with my adorable kids and beautiful wife. Loved troubling Keku and Ketu.
Drove to Monteverde. Offroading was fun. Scenic drive. Great host in Olver. loved the place we stayed. There were cute dog and cat outside.
Next day chocolate and coffee tour. Such pleasant weather, good guide, we made candy, collected coffee, bullock cart ride, to end with snacks and coffee. Lots of fun. Coffee across Costa Rica did not suit our pallet.
Decided to go back to Liberia and enjoy beaches. Hilton was perfect in my opinion. I negotiated a good deal and saved ~200 dollars over 3 days of stay. Evening swimming pool experience with kids was excellent. Had mojito, fries on the pool. Ritchi joined later and we had dinner together.
Next day was beach time with kids.
Playa Conchal, Brasillito, Coco, Ocotal, Tamarindo, Grande, Hermosa .. so many options.
Beaches though close to each other, yet so different!
We decided to to Playa Conchal. Bumped into Sangeet Saurabh. This beach is made of crushed Shells! Most wonderful time with my Keku, Ketu and Ritchi. Seeing both kids fully immersed in joy while seeing Ritchi peacefully sitting and reading book - life seems perfect, need nothing more.
We had coconut water. Touch of those crushed shells and clean blue water was heavenly. Waves were perfect dragging us in and out. This was the best ever beach experience.
Next day we came back to Playa Conchal. We could not get enough of this beach. This time we were stocked with water and snacks. Came back late in the evening.
Next day, ready for flight. Everything was so comfortable, including our flight back. Read Autobio of Yogi and watched Meg with Rubi.
We were home by 9:30 and guess what we did. We jumped in the car and rushed to.... eat Indian food. Ritchi gave-up Gluten-Free oath for a day. We enjoyed Chola Bhatura and Butter Paneer.
Getting ready for new year in Austin.
