back from florida

hi. so v got back from florida. it cud ve been a whole lot more fun had our darling keku not fallen ill. it started wid a cold, the flight to orlando was so tough. khikhi n i took turns to walk the aisle n try to put him to sleep, all in vain. my baby, his ear hurt, had blocked nose, cud nt sleep, was'nt very comfy in the plane. needless, to say, none of us were!
so v got thr, khikhi did a remarkable job in selectin the resort condo. it was lovely. it had a soakin bathtub n khikhi managed to lure keki into it. i did do some prep work by makin keku play in the tub to get him acquainted in it.
so once in the tub, he enjoyed every bit of it n refused to b pulled out. he hated me for havin got him out the lovely warm water n into clothes. honey, im sorry but u were'nt keepin well.
so both father n son had some fab time playin in the tub n realised wht a water baby v ve in our hands:)
we went by a tampa beach.. it was beautiful...white soft sandy beach, outlined wid palm trees in the background, clear blue day and clear pristine water. By then, mishoo had joined us as well. v all played wid the frisby, went in the water splish spashin around, tried to make sand castles, fed a bit to the birds.
evening, we ate this most amazing roma pizza from an italian joint..it had feta cheese and olive oil drizzled on top..the base of it was made in front of us.
our trip overall was relaxin n every bit of it v needed. we sat out in the covered porch, enjoyed a meal or some evenin cup of coffee. our condo was overlookin the forest, so every day we heard these wonderful sound of chirpin birds gettin started wid their daily grind n busy in action.
trip back was much better than anticipated. had a halt in dallas...this coz we were late by 5 mins for checkin in our direct flight to LA and hence, the checkin in staff put in a dallas board flight. it turned out to b a blessin in disguise coz keku didnt put us thru hell this time. thr were kids everywhr n so when he did scream his lungs out like he usually likes to:) v were'nt gettin as many dirty looks from everywhr.
keku u ve the most wonderful n infectious laugh. u ve the perfect balance of being naughty n caring. both papa n i cant stop thankin God for givin us keku. ur so unique. u scream at the drop of a hat n giggle in ur sleep. sometimes u ve a voracious appetite and u eat up from our share as well at others when ur not eating well, it can keep me awake at nite.
now, khikhi has got busy wid his prep for GMAT..his exam date is 24 june. he has it in him. iknow he can get in a college he wants to. so my job is to give him a perfect condusive environment, make sure his tumy is full n keku is happy as well.
im learnin new recipes on foodnetwork.com. today ll go to the grocery store n pick out some ingredients n experiment. quite lookin fwd to tht.

....k now he s typed enough. he s fiddlin around so much ,makin all these windows open up from all over the place.. n now he s tryin to bite the table..keku ur a handful.
he woke up from afternoon nap n was in such bad mood...screamin n hitting me for no apparent reason. so i played some hindi videos, few peppy songs...always works like magic. then fed him some sweet potato n he s set to go n play some on his own for 10-15 mins...
well, tht was 12 mins back now he s back n has also pooped. will go n clean him up.
khikhi keeps remindin me 'he s our chota sa keku', 'he s innocent'....:)

keki prepares for miami

keki will b visiting orlando and miami startin apr 8. it ll loads of fun. he go to disneyland watch all the cartoon characters and yes even his fav...DORA:) he ll go to beach, play in the sand.
the other day, khikhi n i were reminiscising when keki initially started walkin...whenever thr wud b a bump v in the road, he ll start to walk all the way thru on the bump and forget to back down on road. those were such cute fun days too. these days he s like a rockstar with his hooded jacket and low waist trousers....mayb just glares r missing....oh and btw, he s sitting in my lap while i type all this...while khikhi is sitting jus next to us, giving his GMAT exam.

sleep patterns

keki darling ur making us go crazy! from the moment ur up till ur put to bed, actually even then u just know so well the art of expressin ur displeasure! everything bugs u honey. u luv to make a mess. if u catch us clearin up...u thrive in gettin to the middle of all the action n messin. u dnt go down to sleep widout a fiesty fight. vr strugglin honey. pls co-operate ...papa needs to go to work early n mommy has all this work piled up which she s strugglin /eager to get over wid. u dnt ve milk. u dnt respond to our calls...whts goin on in tht smart thinkin head of urs.
at nite, thrs not a day actually nite when u dnt wake 6-7 times. u get up n cry for 4 secs, if v dnt respond in tht span u start to scream. do u know, v've written apology letters to our neighbours coz they too r affected by ur sleep pattern n noise makin ability:)
keki today while cleanin ur mouth, noticed u ve another 4 teeth sprouting. this lil peapod is gettin bigger n bigger. u respond to 'kiss kiss' by givin us a peck. its so cute... saw an advt. the other day, whr a lil kid grows up to tellin his mum when she s callin him for dinner, ur ruinin my life! y, coz everyday he usually is playin some videogame at dinner time..was very anxious imagining thr might b a similar scene in our household someday. ur papa seems to think to ll b an ideal boy. am keeping fingers crossed. on tht note, let me go to sleep.
