When you know its Keku - Part 2

• My little keku does not like to be sqeezed in and get short of the space he needs. did you get it. i gues no. let me explain, his sweet mom told me that she feels claustrophobic very easily and I think keku has got similar traits from her. You try to hug him tight, hold him close or lie very close to him - he try to shove you away :) and starts crying immediately. This cute action can not be described in word. Have to record this sometime
• Keku can cry any moment and laugh the next moment. Right fromt he day one he is very very expressive. Honestly I like made him misrable sometimes to get a glimpse of that face he makes while crying. Until 6 months, when he use to cry - he shuts his eyes tight and his forhead turn white...why I am telling you this... coz I want to make you ask this question so that I feel how unique of an experience it is to watch this little wonder then to try putting his deeds to words.
• tell you more - i can't stop laughing when i remember then time keku use to scratch his arms on my face. I use to wonder why he doea it. And to make it more fuzzy he does not do this to Ritchu. As soon as I lie down next to him or hold him too close, his immediate action was to start rubbing his arms on my beard...oh 'beard' ...yes - and then i figured out he use to be itchy in hands and using my cheek as a sandopaper!! what an opportunist he is!! and this smart fella - not to guess why he does not do the same thing to ritchi..
• he like when me and ritchu talks with each other and he is sitting cozily next to us. And then the moment we stop the sweet talk he will come to action and takes all the attention. At night when all lights are off, he likes to move around on our bed and throw his head around on our tummy..and then keep lying thier with a content face looking at us, kind of saying that - i feel so secure and cozy...both ritchi and I love this act
• Keku has grown very fast and so many of his habbits and traits comes and go. Very unique, entertaining, amazing, cute, thrilling and sometime irritating..irritating -for example he likes to be in your hand sometime and does not like you to sit :) ..he wants you to hold him high and take him around..hehe ..
• Keku started walking slowly and surely on 11th of december - the day his nana-nani came to his dada-dadi's place. We all were there and he was walking. its like - he was waiting for every important being to be present to grace us with his "walk of fame" :)
• keku's dada played a major role in making keku walk so early. He use to come back tired from office everyday and make keku practice walking all over the place. he came up with the idea of tieing a leash and make him walk. Keku did oblige and started walkign when we were in bombay.
• by the time we came back to US on 16th December, keku really started walking
• Now is feb 25th and the state is: keku rarly crawls! ..he just walks and walks and walks.

When you know its Keku

I saw him coming to this world from head to toe. I saw him open his eyes and trying to see this new wrold. I saw him crying for the first time and trying to get the fist gust of air in his little lungs. I saw him moving his hands and leges announceing of his arrival. Never ever in my life I felt so emotional, nervous, happy and excited at the same time. This is when I knew, he's Keku. That was Jan 20th, 2007

He was towelled, wrapped and kept in the wooden temperature controlled basinet. I looked at him with tears in eyes only to realizing how blessed me and Ritchu are. I felt like a complete family. I looked at Ritchu who was sitting there tired and felt like hugging her. She took care of her and this keku for 9 months and made sure she delivers her best when it matters ..hehe.. Thats my sweetheart for you. She is the best wife and mother at the same time...

coming back to Keku..Yes..

Keku was lying after birth in basinet and I was concerned about the blind which was moving and letting sun take a peek at this wonder boy. I was concerned and didn;t let it happen.

Few weeks old, eyes tighty shuts when he cries, you touch his lips and he comes at you smiling..thats Keku

Until 5 months, when he use to cri, his forehead use to become white

He use to take yawn and make full arch.

18th feb, 2005 - nowhere from somewhere god made me meet my sweetheart, my soul mate - Ritcha. That was the day I really beleived in "made for each other".

04 jan, 2006 - ritchu was little upset with me. gems given to kid and also coz offered her to go with friend's wife to library

05 jan, 2006 - we slpet 3 in the morning. next day was work. we chatted long about different incidents. 'man with the wood' and 'cycle monter' stands out:)

06,jan, 2006 - rithcu made first paranth in the lunch time along with the egg. it was delicious

06, jan, 2006 - ritchu's first dahi

17 jan, 2006 - ritchi and me ordered flowers for mum's b'day and it reached next day.

18 jan, 2006 - chatted on webcam for the first time with papa-mum.

19 jan, 2006 - celebrated rithci's b'day at home. yes, one day in advance coz its already 20th in india

20th jan, 2006 - ritchi's b'day and i took off. took lots of rest and slept too late.

29th jan, 2006 - ritchi and i went to "rang de basanti". first hindi movie outing. we liked it. evening we went to "annapurna".

30th jan, 2006 - celebrated my best ever and very special b'day.

01, feb, 2006 - ritchi wrote a letter and put it in the drawer. she also reminded that there is one in my office bag :).

02 feb, 2006 - yes, its morning - there is a letter and sweetest letter i ever read. i am so happy.

27 may, 2006 - ritchu and I went to SFO. We had great fun. I took her to pakistani restaurant (Shalimar and she did not like :)

30 may 2006 - ritchu complaining about vomitting sensation and giddiness. I got suspicious :)

05 june,2006 - ritchu and I did pregnency test and it came out positive!!!!!!! we are having a baby..iritchu was jumping with joy and whole world seemed to be changed for us.


20th Jan, 2007 - we were blessed with Ruhaan aka keku, sweeted, most charming and darling baby on this earth.
