keku is such a cleanliness freak. one little suji granule on him or anywhere near his clothes drives him crazy till its cleaned spotless. the other day shikhar was feedin him and the food spilled n stained shikhar's shirt... our little man cudn't bear to sit n allow his clothes touch the dirty spot on papa... he had to get away!
another trait nething unfavourable comin his way makes him furiously mad. he still cant express throughly wid words but u can tell so easily wid his tone n expressions. lil albert pinto..always mad!:)

my little nemo
OK. So its been a while and latest is:
- Little Keku is a turning out to be a lean and lanky cute rascal.
- Dear Ritchi is ready to produce once again! :)
- And I have started up bulding up my arms so I am better prepared as my family grows.
But today is about swiming:
Today was perfect weather to be in a swimming pool. Keku sensed it like a shark senses blood drop in water. The moment he got up today he got his radar set towards the swimming pool (we can see from our balcony), got his stuff, started pulling my fingers and said - chimming chalo chimming. And as always I started teasing behaving like I don't understand. But he has certainly taken it from his mom - never give up :). So there we were in the swiming pool - I with a trunk and a vest and keku with his cute nemo swimming dress. I was looking like an ameture and keku was elegently dressed and more looking like a professional diver. Our favorite stunt is where I am in the water with my arms open and Keku makes frog style jump with his mouth full open and eyes closed.
When it comes to swimming, Keku is very impatient. He spashes at me, screems in joy, throw his legs and do everything which you don;t do while swimming. More I try to make him hold and tell him how to move arms and legs, more he goes berserk and makes fun of me. He was the cutest little fish among kids. He takes care of everybody, doen't mess with anybody and respects everybody's presence. When Nidhi (my neighbor's 4 year old daughter) was crying today, Keku notonly anounced to everybody that - "Didi Sad!!!" :) but also went all the way to her saying "Bus Bus (enough)".
BTW Keku is a big attention seeker. After obliging me by letting him learn how to swim, my little Keku was running around the pool leaving me alone in 3 1/2 feel pool with little kids. He was running and giggleing giving and taking attention from everybody except one - me. Infact I told one of the guy that it's he who bought me here to swim and not the other way round.
Anyways, after we were done with the swiming, there were no towels. We did'nt forget but rather all the towels were in laundry. We walked dripping all the way into the bath tub, took a good bath and Keku helped wash swimming trunks..With water all over the place and clothes in disarray we made a good mess, which dear Ritchi ended up amending (like she alway does). After all of the hungama - we had a good sleep....keku is still sleeping as I type and Ritchi still finding means to clean up the house further...and the story never ends...

so loads to update this time..for a change start wid khikhi
he s got his admission in UCLA the very first time he tried..course comences end of sept '09..so proud of him. he s super busy these days wid the RWA and retail projects plannin and implementation phases. his health is looking up compared to before..been exercisin n eatin salads n well in general.
ruhaan has picked up on alphabet song, numbers, planets, shapes, colours, few nursery rhyms like twinkle twinkle, itsy bitst spider, old mcdonald, row ur boat etc..
he s been conversing quite well too, gettin potty trained. plan to get him in mommy n me or preschool by jan next yr (when he s 3) see how he ready he is by then to b by himself.
he indicates well all the needs.
my health is kinda lookin up now after the ovarian cyst scare..turns out is pregnancy. so excited especially after seein the way ruhaan shaped out..so independent, expressisive n opinionated:)
he understands emotions n cares bout people. he also knows how to take care of himself, which is so cute:)ve scheduled the first prenatal appointment next wk...keepin fingers crossed..hopefully everything will turn out as great as it did before.

2 yr old pumpkin
ruhaan s bday on jan 18 2009 was a big success..everyone said they had a blast..food was warm n enough for all. kids enjoyed their 'pin the thomas' game along wid burst the pin^ata. keku wore his blue sherwani, looked very handsome. the party theme was 'thomas the engine'. cake and the bday decorations at travel town, griffith park carried forth the theme.
i created a sign in sheet for all the 'passengers' where they had to include few comments for the bday boy as it was his choo-choo. the sheets ll go in his scrapbook. khikhi was the perfect host, ensured everyone was happy n not feelin bored. mishoo and neha assisted in servin food to everyone from the table. it was big help havin them around. it wud ve been a mean feat had khikhi n i to organize the party n cater to 55 people by ourself.
wid the party over, it was a sigh of relief!!
ve noticed is gettin out of his fit throwin screamin at the drop of a hat being miserable all the time phase. he is so happy mingling wid people..v've started takin him to park again whr he slides down n swings all by himself n enjoys himself immensely. everyday he goes..park,park n v ve got to take him, else hell breaks lose:)
he s gettin into a schedule..wakes up daily by 9am, has his milk while his papa readies to leave for work, watches his shows while playin around..in the meantime i get his breakfast ready then v both read a book or on mondays, he gets his massage followed by bath when papa comes back in the afternoons for lunch, then its mealtime n then sleepy sleepy. in the eve, he eats, then v all head to the lib for lil colouring activites followed by the park..come back dinner time then playtime wid papa then sleepy sleepy at 11pm.

new pain
so Ruhaan Singh is turning 2 in another 2 wks. v've planned this huge party wid all our family and friends at Travel Town, Griffith Park. Its a train coup, the venue which ll b followed by a train ride for all.
How is Ruhaan progressin these days, pretty gud vd say. The moment he is taken out, an independent soul tht he is, he jus wants to b by himself doesntwantus near him, till he needs us ofcourse if he s been hurt or smthg he cant reach to..
at home, he s been driving me crazy...wid aggressive behavior, hittin me, throwin things not eating his meals (he is at 25%ile in terms of weight for his age). shikhar n i r very anxious. he hates fruits n veges or bread or chapatis, no cereals..wht r v left wid?? jus milk ll not suffice nemore.
yest nite, he swished my fingers between the door n its frame. i had jus finished cleanin his puke off his clothes n washed the area wid cold water. this was nite time n my fingers cold. he hurt pretty bad, my eyes swelled up wid tears. later i hear he squished shikhar's fingers too.
im findin it difficult to tame him down n make him listen to me, at all!!!
im concerned bout the future, how it may shape his personality. shikhar says its a phase, will pass...God, i hope so.
i feel at though nothing i ever do, is gud enough for him n he s mad at me, thts y this behaviour coz afterall he does spend max time wid me. i am responsible for wht he does or not.
